EZCORP is a global, publicly held provider of pawn loans, with $1billion in annual revenue from 500+ retail locations and more than 5,000 employees in the US, Mexico, and Latin America.

Challenge

EZCORP engaged Magnify to help deepen loyalty with their customers, employees, and local operating communities. The retail financial services industry is highly fragmented and deeply regulated with high employee turnover and reputation challenges.    

Solution

Our team developed and launched a comprehensive global CSR program with activation at the local neighborhood level. In addition to investments via the EZCORP Foundation, each retail store donates products and funds to community partners and volunteers alongside customers to address local needs. Immediately following hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Magnify was engaged again to create a disaster response program for EZCORP’s 250 retail stores in Texas and Florida.

Resulted in employee engagement improvement rates, with overall turnover decreasing from 68% to 57% in a 12-month period and an industry-leading 74% satisfaction rate.
